Emmet is a Partner and Head of the Business
Department, practicing in the area of corporate law and
mergers and acquisitions and restructurings.
Emmet and his team are experienced in advising a broad range
of clients across different business sectors on corporate
structuring/restructuring, private fund raisings, M&A transactions,
shareholders' agreements and commercial law.
Emmet also advises on structuring of venture capital and
private equity investment structures.
Emmet is also the co-author of "The Law and Practice of Irish
Stamp Duty" published by the Irish Taxation Institute and
is a member of the Taxation Committee of the Law Society.
