Paul is a Partner in the Commercial Property Department.

Paul has been involved in a wide variety of commercial property work acting for a broad range of clients ranging from multinational companies, banks and small local businesses to local authorities and private investors.

Paul has significant experience of providing property advice in a corporate support role and has been centrally involved advising on the real estate elements of a number of the largest merger and acquisition transactions in Ireland over the past number of years.

Paul also has extensive experience acting for both landlords and tenants in the negotiation of commercial leases of retail, industrial and office properties. He has been responsible for the property portfolios owned by significant retail chains and manufacturing and warehousing companies and has also provided property advice to a number of leading energy companies. Paul also has considerable expertise with regard to conveyancing in particular with regard to site acquisition for both residential and commercial developments and has worked as a private client solicitor acquiring extensive experience in residential conveyancing and the administration of estates.

Before Paul joined LK Shields Solicitors in September 2008, he was a senior member of the commercial property department of another large Dublin law firm.
