LK Shields Solicitors has acted for Calyx Group Plc and its independent directors, in the recent management buyout of Calyx Group Plc, the IEX and AIM listed IT services company, in a deal valuing the company at approximately €105 million.

The team was headed by Business Department Partner, Gerry Halpenny, with assistance from Business Department Partner Richard Curran and the Litigation and Dispute Resolution Department dealt with the High Court aspects of the transaction.

The acquisition was made by way of scheme of arrangement through a consortium - Stornoway - comprised of Maurice Healy and other senior Calyx management, backed by a private equity group Alchemy Partners.
